73 bedroom extension to existing Premier Inn hotel

For this project Multibuild employed an off site modular system to construct the 73 bedroom extension. 44 individual units were set upon strip foundations then clad with brick and feature block work to match that of the existing building. Each standard unit contained two bedrooms and a section of corridor, while a number of other units formed areas of the extension including stairwells, linen rooms and lift shafts. The hotel's existing restaurant was also extended at the rear of the hotel with the addition of a conservatory type structure. The project was completed with the refurbishment of the reception area, bringing the hotel's interior completely up-to-date.
