Before construction could begin on this project, remedial site work, including the removal of an existing railway cutting had to be undertaken. Once complete, the five new buildings were constructed using steel portals, concrete slab floors, external block work and cladding finishes. Each building houses industrial units that range from 1,590 sq ft to 30,440 sq ft. Internally block work walls and full toilet facilities were installed in the units, which also feature full-height sectional steel doors, glazed aluminium personnel doors and steel fire doors. Multibuild also created an HGV access road, an entrance roundabout, car parking areas, a utilities substation and completed all the required drainage works.
