

In keeping with its objective of setting and maintaining the highest standards in its sector, Multibuild Limited recognises its responsibility to protect the environment during the execution of the full range of its activities. This statement confirms the Chief Executive's intent to ensure the Company adequately manages its works, prevents pollution and continually improves the operational and environmental management of its activities.
The policy will be implemented by adopting the following main principles in a proactive manner. Multibuild Limited will:
- Comply with relevant legislation, client and other requirements that apply to its activities.
- Communicate with its stakeholders to ensure minimal environmental impact and to promote, where possible environmental enhancement.
- Identify and evaluate the environmental aspects of all projects it undertakes, which may include aspects such as:
Waste management and minimisation
Air quality
Noise
Ground conditions
Water resources
Wildlife and habitat
Archaeology and heritage
- Set measurable and realistic environmental objectives and targets to improve the environmental performance across the business.
- Identify and address the training needs of all its employees, sub-contractors and suppliers to raise environmental awareness across all its activities.
- Promote Multibuild's environmental principles throughout its supply chain to encourage the adoption of appropriate levels of environmental management, and to support the Company's objectives and targets.
- Source environmentally sustainable materials, reduce waste and consumption of energy and raw materials, and maximise opportunities to re-use and recycle where possible.
- Promote high environmental standards and the use of environmental best practices throughout the business.
The Board is responsible for the management of environmental issues and the implementation of this policy across the Company, and will ensure appropriate resources are available. Both this policy and the Company's environmental performance will be reviewed on an annual basis.
