Multibuild at the double for Lincoln hotel

Multibuild, the specialist hotel and leisure contractor has won its first major contract since it was acquired by Balfour Beatty in January this year. The contract, to build a new Hilton Double Tree Hotel on Lincoln’s Brayford Wharf North development was successfully negotiated with Lincolnshire based developer Manorcrest Homes and is scheduled to start on site in June. The scheme is Manocrest’s first hotel development and includes the construction and fit out of a 115 bedroom hotel with gymnasium, café and a feature glass lift providing access to a rooftop restaurant with views of Lincoln Cathedral. Leigh Hall, Managing Director of Manorcrest Homes said: “We decided to negotiate this scheme exclusively with Multibuild due to their experience and track record of hotel construction. This is our first hotel development and they are market leaders in the sector. “We’re delighted with the user friendly service Multibuild has provided.
